A quick update. Dustin says that he will start rolling out service early next week. If you haven't registered on line for him to contact you might want to do that.

 

If you live up high on one of the surrounding hills you may want to contact him. The higher we can setup the access points the better the coverage will be for all of us. 

 

Btw, the up/download speeds he is getting is 12 mps, which is awesome.

Howdy folks,I met with Wes and Eric from Canyon Wireless/SDWISP on Wednesday the 26th to explore opportunities for our two organizations to collaborate in De Luz.  They're a great couple of guys, with a lot of experience.  They sent me home with a lot to chew on, and I forwarded a proposal to them on Sunday the 30th.  I know Eric received it but I haven't heard back from them thus far.  (Being a one man shop, I know about being extremely busy and in demand - and it's the sort of thing I would want to seek the counsel of friends and mentors on before responding to it myself.)

I wanted to allow them time to respond to my proposal in hopes that we might all be working together in De Luz to spread Internet service faster, and if that were the case we could make a joint statement to avoid creating needless confusion in the market.  The good news is, there will be plenty of time for that in the future if collaboration is in the cards for us.  

It's time to focus on bringing our service to new customers in De Luz.  We have established a SOLID high speed link at Vaughn Smith's residence, and will begin aggressively installing residential service to homes in this area and working towards Ross Lake immediately.

I'd love to come out and provide a question and answer period, bring some radio equipment so you can see what the device to be installed on or near your homes will look like, etc.  I'm available Friday and Saturday to be in De Luz.
