Another Option for Internet in De Luz

Another Option for Internet in De Luz

1 on 1 communications has worked great for the 4-5 mos i have had the service. For $69 a month I get anywhere from 1.5 to 8 (but mostly in the 4- mbps range) mbps up and down with unlimited data download. You know you have good service when you don't know the number of your ISP because you're not calling them. I had Wildblue for 8 yrs. It sucked. download speeds were acceptable but I do presentations from my computer and upload speed was like 56k. The other thing that you can do with 1 on 1 that yo can't do with Wildblue is put in something loike Ooma or Magic Jack. So for 69 a month you could get home phone and internet. Well worth the value.

Looking to find out what everyone us using for internet and cell?  I live off Avenida Del Oro but apparently verizon does not offer dsl because they say their are no ports.  Anyone know a way around this?  Having luck with satelite?  Which companies?  Speeds?  I was thinking about trying blue dish then adding a verizon extender to get cell service.  Anyone doing this?
